Course Description

An introduction to sailing dinghies for adult beginners, based on the RYA - Start Sailing Syllabus this two-day course will cover everything you need to know to get afloat under supervision. You will learn how to use the wind to sail a boat as both helm and crew including an awareness of launching and recovery. You will sail in a boat with an instructor and some other students. Suitable for ages 16 and up no previous experience necessary. This is an active course, and participants might end up in the water, please advise in advance of booking if the participant is a non-swimmer. Timings Start Time 9:30 Finish time 4:30
