Course Description

Weekly supervised evening sessions designed for junior cadets (ages 8 to 12) to develop their sailing skills and confidence on the water. These individual sessions offer a supportive environment for young sailors to practice in a group setting during the summer period. Our sessions are focussed around having a fun introduction to sailing. We use a mixture of single handed boats, and larger boats with a few cadets and an instructor on board. As you would be jumping into sessions we are already running we don't recommend this for complete beginners but someone who has completed their YSS1 start sailing courses, or one of the fun weeks should have sufficient experience. We are running as an opportunity for those who missed the season evening signup this will give them a boost in sailing time and help progress their season.
